Rockfall protection Slope stabilization Civil engineering

GEOSTEEL designs, supplies, and installs integrated solutions for rockfall protection, slope stabilization, and hydraulic works.
We support clients from early site surveys and engineering coordination through procurement, on-site installation, and final documentation, delivering practical mitigation measures for mountain terrain and critical infrastructure.

We work with proven systems such as rockfall barriers, high-tensile meshes and wire-rope panels, anchors and micropiles, reinforced soil solutions, and drainage/erosion-control works (e.g., gabions and RENO mattresses), selected and detailed to match each hazard scenario and project constraints.

Safety and quality are central to every job: access planning, risk assessment, and traceable materials. On request, we also provide inspections and maintenance to help keep protection systems performing over time.

  • Rockfall barriers: Installation, replacement, and upgrades, including foundations and anchorage works.
  • Meshes & surface protection: Drapery and confinement systems (double-twist mesh, high-tensile mesh, wire-rope panels), scaling/cleaning of rock faces, and integration with project-specific surface treatments where required.
  • Active stabilization: Rock bolts/soil nails, tieback anchors, and micropiles, including drilling and grouting operations.
  • Reinforced soil & containment: Reinforced-soil systems and anchored containment solutions for cuts and embankments.
  • Hydraulic works & drainage: Gabions, Reno mattresses, drainage gabions, and erosion-control measures for channels, outlets, and slope drainage.
  • Monitoring support: Preparation and installation support for ground/structure monitoring systems (mounts, protection, routing), coordinated with the monitoring designer and instrument supplier.
  • Inspections & maintenance: Periodic checks, corrective actions, and emergency interventions after events.
